4. Official language for submission of abstract is in English but abstract if accepted for conference can be presented in
both English or Hindi.
5. Abstract must be typed single-space in English using at least 10-point size font and must fit inside the designated
space and should not exceed 300-word limit.
6. Authors should be listed by initials and surname. Not more than 5 authors are to be included. In case more than 5
authors are mentioned the first five will be taken

Abstract Submission Guideline:
8. Name of the presenting author should be in bold.
9. KDACON 2024 will not consider the abstracts sent by post.
10. Tables and graphs can be included. In case of Case reports images and photographs can be submitted.
11. Please proof read the abstract carefully for factual and spelling errors.
12. When submitting an abstract for review, make sure you click the submit button one time only. If you do not click the
submit button, your abstract will not be submitted.
13. After submission, no further modification can be made.
14. Notification regarding acceptance of the submission along with the guidelines for presentation will be sent to the
author to the email provided after acceptance of abstract. Kindly give wait for 10 days you Scientific Team to revert
to author.
15. The author may choose between the option of Poster or online Oral presentation. However, the scientific committee
reserves the right to accept / reject / assign a different presentation type to all the abstracts submitted.
16. Any Abstract sent by mail (postal) or hardcopy will not be accepted for review. Only abstract submissions via the
dedicated portal will be eligible for review.

ABSTRACT MUST BE SUBMITTED BY (31st October 2024) ANY ABSTRACT, WHICH DOES NOT ADHERE TO THE ABOVE GUIDELINES, WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REJECTED
1. The presentation should be made as PowerPoint (preferably .pptx).
2. Each hall is equipped with a laptop and a projector. Usage of own laptops or other devices will not be permitted.
3. At the time of loading please verify and ensure that your videos are working.
4. Free communications should not exceed 5 minutes time. There will be 2-minute discussion time after each presentation
5. Please note maximum number of slides for free communication must be 10 only.
6. All presenters should declare their conflicts of interest at the beginning of presentation.
7. All participants are requested to stick to the allotted time. It should be noted that the screen will go blank after the stipulated time.
8. All presenters are requested to load their presentations at least 3 hours before their presentation time.
9. No changes will be allowed to be made to the presentations at the last hour.
10. Presentations will be accepted only from pen drive and cannot be connected from mobiles or the internet.
11. All presenters are expected to in the scheduled hall 30 minutes before presentation. If the presenter is absent at their turn, no further chance will be given.
Structure your abstract using the following subheadings
1. Introduction & Objectives: A sentence describing the purpose of the study.
2. Materials & Methods: Describe your selection of observations or experimental subjects precisely.
3. Results: Describe your results in a logical sequence.
4. Conclusions: Emphasize new and important aspects of the study and conclusions that are drawn from them.
5. Conflict of interest: Declaration of conflict of interest is mandatory.

3. The abstract of the poster should contain the name of the presentation, name of the presenting author only. No other identity may be revealed in the slide.
