Kanpur Diabetes Association was registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI, by the Registrar of Societies, Uttar Pradesh vide Certificate No. K-31051 dated January 18th 2003 at Kanpur.
Executive Committee
At present the association has 247 life members, comprising of endocrinologists, physicians and general practitioners from Kanpur and adjoining districts. Regular monthly continuing medical education programmes are held every month for the members. The annual general meeting of the association is held in August/September every year. During the annual general meeting, a two day state level continuing medical education programme for members, and a para medical training programme are integrated. Regular patient education and diabetes detection camps are held twice annually.
